The aims and objectives for which this Non-Governmental
Organization (NGO) is established are as under :
|
| 1. |
To raise funds for help better medical, social and educational care for the needy. |
| 2. |
To facilitate better medical management of AIDS and other diseases to those who can not afford themselves such as poor and illiterate downtrodden people of the society. |
| 3. |
To spread awareness about better living by adopting good hygienic practices, restricting the family size and educating the children. |
| 4. |
To educate the healthcare workers about safe injection and safe hospital waste practices to minimize the disease burden on the society. |
| 5. |
To establish/start/open consultancy / hospices for AIDS and Cancer patients. |
| 6. |
To study and disseminate the Social and genetic aspects of health and disease. |
| 7. |
To work for eradicating social-stigmas, ghost theories and sacrifices of humans and animals for the cure of disease, misconceptions about disease causation, Quackery, belief in Tantrics etc. |
| 8. |
To strive for a society which has
equi-tolerance to all castes, creeds, and religions. |
| 9. |
To help justice prevail in the society. |
| 10. |
To accomplish all or any of the above objectives through seminars/symposia/ conferences/general awareness camps/ nukkad
natakas / TV/Radio/ Internet/Audio-visual films and/or print media (Magazines, Journals, news letters, news papers etc). |
